BE A NEIGHBOR ~ A NEIGHBOR NEEDS YOU!

Are you willing to share what you have learned with another parent living the autism journey? Be a Neighbor!

We are putting together a support program called Neighbor to Neighbor. Can you be a Neighbor to a fellow parent who just needs someone to talk to about life with autism? Neighbors will be trained in both support and how to trouble shoot problems with a “tool kit” of resources and services. Parents can be matched by issue (diet, Aspie, school) or by age of child. Every effort will be made to also match Neighbors to live near one another.

Training will be held in late March.

We will meet quarterly for status updates. Please email greaterakron@autismohio.org to volunteer.
